Teri and John’s DoubleTree Hotel Syracuse Wedding

Teri and John were wed on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Syracuse, NY. The bride and groom both got ready at this location, had their ceremony, and reception all at this location. A one stop shop!

When I arrived to meet Teri I walked into a hotel room filled with the most fun, energetic, and amazing set of people! Even though there was a lot going on at once, everything went completely smooth. Everyone was joking and laughing, telling stories and sipping on champagne. It is everything you imagine when you picture getting ready for your wedding.

I went downstairs to the ceremony and reception space where I was greeted with potted mums, pumpkins, and beautiful candles. If you have ever imagined having a fall wedding, look no further. Teri and John nailed it!

I went back upstairs to meet John who was so excited to see his bride!

The bride and groom waited to see each other until the ceremony and it was a beautiful moment.

After the ceremony we stepped outside into the beautiful fall air for some bridal portraits.

The rest of the night was a memorable one! The bride and groom played the shoe game. For those who don’t know what that is, it is when the bride and groom sit back to back with each of their shoes in their hands. The DJ asks questions such as “who said I love you first” or “who hogs the covers” and they each answer by holding up that person’s respective shoe. Its honestly one of my favorite things to watch at a wedding! Filled with amazing food, laughter, and dancing!
