Franklin Square Park Anniversary Session, Syracuse, NY

I would be lying to you if I didn’t say that most of my couple sessions are engagement sessions. Young love, with hope in their eyes for what their future holds. So it is not everyday that I get to photograph a couple celebrating 20 years of marriage, especially a couple that has that same twinkle in their eyes.

Patty and Tony were wed 20 years ago on July 19th…which is approximately the last time they had photos taken together! It was so much fun to bond with these two love birds. We talked about our mutual love of travel and food. They told me about their upcoming anniversary trip and their grandchildren that they adore. I told them about my son, husband, and our recent adventure in Italy. It was like talking with old friends.

Through the midst of good conversation and gorgeous golden hour glow, at the end of the session Patty pointed out the most beautiful and clear rainbow. We snapped a quick picture and that was the perfect ending to the day.

I couldn’t be happier for these two. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I had taking them!

Thanks for reading!
