Cody and Ashley’s Maternity Session, Highland Forest Park

It seems like just yesterday when I got the call from Ashley and she told me she was pregnant. I have been photographing these two for years and now they are bringing this little tiny miracle into the world.

The conditions for the maternity session couldn’t have been more perfect. The last few days leading up were -20 below in some places. But by the time Sunday rolled around it had gotten up to 30 degrees which is warm enough to be outside for an extended period of time but cold enough to keep this beautiful snow on the ground.

I never have trouble photographing this couple. They are so sweet, knowledgable of their poses, and they trust me completely! Ashley and Cody, I can’t wait to meet your newest addition and I’ll be ready with my camera when he/she gets here!
